Affect change: We believe that God desires to use Touching Lives Kenya to change lives spiritually as well as physically. Medical support: We believe that God desires to use His followers in Kenya to reach out to their fellow countrymen, therefore we are committed to support and encourage those who are ministering to their local people. Embrace diversity: We believe that God desires us to understand and show sensitivity toward the unique differences throughout our country. Promote excellence: We believe that God desires Touching Lives Kenya to go beyond being the best we can be to become the best that He would have us to be. Encourage flexibility: We believe that God desires us to expect, rather than be surprised by challenges and setbacks to bring about effectiveness in ministry.Touching Lives Kenya Vision Statement:
We have a vision to prepare and equip Kenya healthcare professionals to join with international partners to remote regions through short term medical camps. Our medical teams do one day children Bible schools, men’s and women’s Bible studies, and medical camps in the areas to which God has called us. These teams receive a unique blessing that flows out of a willingness to bless others – they are blessed as they bless! Our vision extends further from the short-term medical camps. With local community input and cooperation, we build, open, and support medical facilities in regions that have little or no quality medical care available to them. This is a partnership ministry that teams the local and international medical and spiritual community and mixes a passion for God and each other. This benefits all by God’s grace and for His glory!Touching Lives Kenya Doctrinal Statement:
- We believe the Bible to be the wholly inspired, only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
- We believe that there is only one God, who is infinitely perfect, the Creator, Preserver, and Governor of all things, and who is the only proper object of worship.
- We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in his atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal, visible return to establish His Kingdom in power and glory.
- We believe that repentance toward God, faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and regeneration by the Holy Spirit are necessary to salvation.
- We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
- We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
- We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
- We believe that Christ died so that anyone that believes on Him will have eternal life!
