Lives Changed
Brian, A Life Changed
At 9 years old Brian fell and cut his leg. He developed an infection that persisted and slowly started to cause deformity and limited ability to walk. In 2011 at age 13 Brian was brought to TLM medical camp for evaluation and treatment. He underwent several surgeries in Kenya but by 2015 his condition continued to deteriorate. He was brought to the TLM medical camp in 2015 and the Cole family became his temporary legal guardian and brought him to the US for reconstructive surgeries. His last surgery was in 2017 and returned to Kenya in 2018. At age 20 he returned to school as a 6th grader. Brian is now 26 years old and is graduating High School and plans to go to college.
