Peter Okoth Ogalo

Peter Okoth Ogalo was born and brought up in Gwasi Central – Homabay County – Kenya and is married to Lucy Adhiambo. Peter and Lucy have been blessed by God with 7 children of which 5 are living and one boy and four girls. Peter is the Senior Bursar with 20 years’ experience plus at Sori Secondary School where he manages a budget of over Kshs 37,450,000.00 and above annually.  He worked, on a voluntary basis, as accounts clerk for Touching Lives Kenya for over 5 years before joining the TLK Board as Treasurer in 2022. Peter is a motivated and driven manager with over twenty years’ experience in financial management and enjoys leading teams towards successful outcomes. Motivated by targets and service level agreement, Peter finds it rewarding when he is able to meet and even exceed them.  He supports the TLK team members through effective guidance, mentoring and performance review process. In addition to his strong technical expertise, Peter applies robust organization planning and strategic thinking skills to enable the realization of organization outcome.
