Bore Hole, Water Treatment House

Before construction could begin on Sanjweru Medical Center a reliable source of water was a necessity. Touching Lives Kenya partnered with Water Missions International to drill the bore hole and build a water treatment system in 2012-2013. The bore hole currently serves a source of clean water for God’s Hill and the community.

We have added some pictures of the, now completed, drilling and Water Treatment System construction. Take a look (below)!

Then the righteous answered Him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee a hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? When saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Matthew 25: 37-40

Water Distribution Program

February 26, 2014 ushered in the launch of the Sanjweru Medical Center (SMC) Water Distribution Program (WDP). By God’s grace Sanjweru, Kenya and surrounding communities are now able to access clean water!

The day started with the 3 person Touching Lives Ministry administrative team meeting with the Community Committee to discuss the details of the program. The community gave valuable input regarding how the WDP could provide for the needs of the community in the best way possible.

Then it was time to “unveil” the Water Treatment System and get a “sneak preview” of the clean water!

The day ended with us joining together in praising God for His faithfulness and goodness.
